Advait Ashram

Shaktipat Immersion

The Path of Direct Grace

A three-day descent into the living presence of Self.

October 23-25, 2026 ✦ Charlotte, North Carolina
✦ What this is ✦

In a landscape crowded with temporary activations and endless nervous-system fixing, this immersion offers something else entirely.

Not a catharsis to shake loose and repeat. Not a facilitator waving energy over you. Not another technique that ends where the striving begins. Shaktipat Deeksha is the traditional, lineage-based transmission of presence and grace: a subtle, potent ignition of the intelligent life force already asleep within you.

A descent into the depths of your own primordial Being. The radical freedom of yielding to a living lineage of grace.

✦ For those new to the word ✦

Shaktipat

Shakti, the awakening power. Pat, its descent. Shaktipat is the direct transmission of awakened energy from a living lineage into the one ready to receive it. You do not have to perform, force, or achieve. You simply have to be available. Anchored in the non-dual Shaiva Tantra of Kashmir and the wisdom of Ayurveda, this is grace meeting your readiness, and beginning where technique ends.

“The moment I entered the space, it was like being hit by a light a thousand times stronger than ‘me.’ I could not stop sobbing, and then came a cathartic laughter about nothing at all. An intense light and love poured in simply from entering the field, something that surpasses all my understanding. It showed me I can trust the process.”

✦ A global community ✦

Advait Ashram is a global online community for those moving through Kundalini activation and awakening, guided by adepts in a living lineage. Its teachers and facilitators also gather people in person, through immersive experiences held in cities around the world. This is the first multi-day immersion offered in the United States.

✦ Who this is for ✦

If any of the following meets you where you are, you are in the right place.

  • You feel a genuine call toward the divine, but the noise of endless information leaves you lost.
  • A deep energetic process has stirred in you, perhaps triggered by trauma, and no amount of effort seems to settle it.
  • You have glimpsed the depths within, yet cannot find your way back to them consistently.
  • You are a healing practitioner ready to deepen your own practice, or to more fully embody what you teach.
  • You have been broken open by recent life, and you are looking for a container strong enough to hold it.
  • You have a practice, but feel its calling, tired of seeking the breakthrough that never quite arrives.
✦ The three-day arc ✦

A progression, not a schedule

Each day rests on the one before it. Ground, then fire, then stillness, so the subtle body can lower its guard and let transformation take root.

IFridayGround & Receptivity

Establishing the ground

Welcome and cacao to open the field. Gentle movement and the body's fascia as a doorway. Teaching and open questions. The first Shaktipat transmission: initiation and opening. A provided lunch and true respite. Afternoon teaching, closing in the embodiment of Kirtan.
IISaturdayFire & Surrender

The fire of purification

Welcome and movement. Sharing, as each is moved to. Teaching on navigating the awakening: the shadow, the contractions, the dynamics of fear and surrender. The second Shaktipat transmission, deepening through the blocks. Lunch and respite, with guidance for those who want it. Afternoon teaching, embodiment, and a gathering around fire as the day releases.
IIISundayStillness & Return

Stabilization & embodied presence

A welcome that honors both those completing the full arc and those joining for this day alone. Teaching and the third Shaktipat transmission, settling the transmission into the system. A shared integration meal, prepared with care, translating subtle states into ordinary life: relationship, intimacy, the return home. Farewell.

Turiyatita Ma

Turiyatita Ma

Shaktipat Ācharya · Advait Ashram

A Siddha Guru whose awakening began at the age of seven, through visions, out-of-body experiences, and an early intimacy with the Divine. After a profound Kundalini activation in 2006 and years of Shaktipat, she now holds a steady, attuned field for the awakening of others.

She received her Siddha Yoga initiation in 2022 and, for the past four years, has taught non-dual Tantra and given Shaktipat across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Her path unfolded through Kabbalistic study, non-dual scripture, and the way of Bhakti, ripening into deep states of samadhi. A member of the Sangha since 2018, she has offered more than fifty in-person Shaktipats and supports healing through trauma and addiction work, womb healing, and energetic activation.

Hannaneel Perez

Initiator · Wisdom Keeper, Kaqchikel Maya

A Shaktipat Initiator with a rare gift for speaking truth with clarity, compassion, and authenticity, meeting each seeker exactly where they are. A Wisdom Keeper of the Kaqchikel Maya, she carries the lineage of the cacao that opens our gathering.

Her words reveal the essence of the teachings in a way that is at once accessible and profoundly transformative. Her wisdom, humility, and grounded presence have long been a blessing to the community. As an Initiator she now serves the living lineage as an instrument of Grace, supporting sincere seekers on the path of awakening.

Lyra Satyanarayana

Lyra Satyanarayana

Initiator · Advait Ashram

Lyra embodies the living light of the Divine Mother, helping awaken others to their own divine nature through her presence and voice. Not a guru or teacher in the usual sense, but an ally for the liberation of the soul.

Her love and compassion move beneath conscious awareness, reaching the heart in ways we may never fully understand, so we can release what has been hard to carry and find the courage to love fiercely and without compromise. She helps us let go of habitual distraction and return to our true passion.

✦ The space ✦

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

Rumi · the words that open Boho-Bagh

A garden sanctuary

We gather in a private home in Charlotte called Boho-Bagh, named for the Persian bagh, a garden made for gathering and celebration. Thirty-two colours drawn from the chakras, a wide deck, an open fire beneath the trees. A place that is, in itself, a reason to come.

A hallway opening through doorways into light

Every immersion begins with a threshold. Here is ours.

The full address is shared upon registration. A small number of guests may stay onsite for the whole 72-hour container, by inquiry, as the depth of it asks a particular readiness. Everyone else, we’ll gladly point toward comfortable lodging nearby.

Sunday · one day

Join for the final day

Can’t be with us for all three days? The Sunday transmission and integration meal are open on their own. We suggest a contribution of $60-$120, though, like everything here, the choice of what to give is yours.

What if I can’t come on Friday, but want to participate both Saturday and Sunday? We prioritize enrollment for those holding all three days. If space allows, we’d love to welcome you for the final two. Please reach out and ask.

✦ From those who have received ✦

“In January of 2021, a spontaneous awakening ripped the ground from under me and challenged every conviction I had held. Then I found Advait Ashram, a lineage of integrated Siddhagurus whose steadfast teaching and effortless, non-dual presence saved my life.”

An Advait Ashram member

“I have received Shaktipat through the caring Turiyatita Ma, who allows the flow of the Great Mother with deep love and reverence. Both times, I felt blockages work loose that had kept me from a deeper embodiment of the qualities I cherish.”

Vancouver

“This was my first Shaktipat, and it was beautiful. The space was lovely, the facilitators deeply knowledgeable, and afterward I felt profoundly relaxed and at peace. I am already looking forward to the next.”

First immersion

“Every time I sit with these initiators, my practice at home spirals into a months-long deepening. If you need support in your awakening, I cannot recommend it enough.”

✦ Questions ✦
Do I need experience to receive Shaktipat?
No. Whether you are feeling the earliest stirrings of Kundalini or are a seasoned practitioner seeking to stabilize a volatile process, this container is built to meet you. You need only be available.
Is the immersion residential?
It is primarily non-residential. Most participants join each day and rest at home or nearby lodging overnight. A small number of onsite spaces may be offered by inquiry. The full address is shared on registration.
Can I come only for Saturday and Sunday?
We prioritize those attending all three days, as the arc builds on itself. If space allows, we’re glad to welcome partial attendance for Saturday and Sunday. Please write to us and ask before registering.
What is included?
The cacao welcome, morning movement practice, all Shaktipat transmissions and teachings, Kirtan, a gathering around the fire, Friday and Saturday lunches, and the Sunday integration meal.
What should I know before I come?
This is deep, real work, and we hold it with great care. Shaktipat and the movement of Kundalini can bring strong physical, emotional, and energetic responses, and your wellbeing is tended throughout by experienced initiators. You remain your own best guide: rest when you need to, and tell us if anything feels like too much. If you have a medical or mental-health condition you’re wondering about, reach out and we’ll talk it through together. A short participation release is part of registration, and there’s a copy to sign at check-in.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing you can rest and move in, anything that helps you settle (a shawl, a journal), and an openness to receive. [Full details to follow in your confirmation.]

Come and be available.
