Christian explored the Taoist and Vedantic traditions for many years, through meeting teachers, intense practices and studying scriptures. Yet something remained incomplete in his quest for self – realization. When he discovered Advaitashram, he was deeply moved by the power of shaktipat and the deep personal integrity of the teachers. Setting aside what he had previously learned, he took advantage of the many offerings for immersion into the shaktipat field and to his surprise the layers of false identification dissolved much faster than he had considered possible. Challenging life situations aided this transformation, as he discovered that there was no more fear in his system. The recognition of being pure consciousness finally came during a shaktipat retreat and opened up a new life of freedom, wonder and causeless joy.
